AKT Architects was founded by Anna K. Thorsdottir Architect in 1986.
The practice has evolved over the years from mostly residential renovation projects and house additions to the current multifaceted practice including both new construction, additions, and interior renovations on large and small scale commercial projects, health and educational facilities and high end residential construction.
The staff of two or more architects and an interior designer brings a wealth of experience and expertise to all phases of the projects, from programming, research and feasibility studies, all design phases and construction documents through construction, including all facets of interior design.
AKT Architects approaches all projects small and large with the same goal, to provide a personalized service and design solutions based on each project’s physical parameters and the client’s program and vision, with a focus on problem solving and attention to detail, assuring the quality of the final product.
